Mūzei placed fourth, Gailum placed fifth in the javelin in the Diamond League final

Muze won fourth place with a throw of 60.35 meters, which she succeeded on the first attempt.

The next two attempts were not counted, in the fourth the javelin flew 53.18 meters, in the fifth – 58.99 meters, but the sixth throw was not counted.

The winner was world vice-champion American Kara Winger, who threw the javelin at a distance of 64.98 meters on her fifth attempt, world champion Kelsey Lee Barber of Australia was second with 63.72 meters, and Japanese Haruka Kitaguchi, the third place winner of the world championships, was third with 63.56 meters.

The Czech Barbora Špotákova (59.08 m) and the Lithuanian Liveta Jašunaite (57.73 m) remained behind Mūze.

In the men’s competition, Gailums won fifth place with 80.44 meters achieved in the first attempt.

In the second throw, his javelin flew 73.99 meters, in the third – 77.21 meters, in the fourth – 74.04 meters and in the sixth – 76.08 meters, but the fifth attempt was not counted.

The Indian Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra won with 88.44 meters, the second with 86.94 meters was the Czech silver medalist of the Tokyo Olympic Games Jakub Vadlejhs, the third with 83.73 meters – the German European champion Julian Weber.

The American Curtis Thompson took the fourth place with 82.10 meters, and the Portuguese Leandro Ramos took the sixth place with 71.96 meters.

Representatives of the American continent celebrated their victories in the triple jump. In the men’s final, four of the six athletes were born in Cuba. Cuban Andy Diaz Hernandez won with a personal record of 17.70 meters. He surpassed Portugal’s Cuban-born Pedro Picardo (17.63m) and compatriot Jordan Alejandro Diaz Fortun (17.60m).

Meanwhile, for the women, Julimara Rojas of Venezuela won convincingly, who was the only one to break the 15-meter mark, jumping 15.28 meters on her second attempt. Ukrainian Marina Beha-Romanchuk was second with 14.96 meters, Jamaican Shenik Rickets was third with 14.85 meters.

Ukraine celebrated a double victory in the high jump. Jaroslava Maguchiha won with 2.03 meters in the third attempt, and Irina Gerashchenko was the second with 1.94 meters, who, after two unsuccessful attempts at 1.97 meters, transferred one attempt to a height of two meters without overcoming it. Maguchiha missed two meters. Australian Nicole Olizlagers was third with 1.94 meters.

Slovenian Kristjans Czech celebrated the victory in the discus throw with 67.10 meters, Austrian Lukas Weishaidinger was second with 65.70 meters, Lithuanian Andrjus Gudžus was third with 65.28 meters.

American Valerie Allman, who threw the discus at a distance of 67.77 meters, won the women’s event. The Croatian Sandra Perković (67.31 m) was the second, and the Portuguese Liliana Sa (63.34 m) was the third.

Swede Armands Duplantis celebrated another victory in the pole vault, this time in the second attempt he overcame the bar placed at a height of 6.07 meters, reaching a new competition record.

The Norwegian Jákobs Ingebrigcens won the 1500 meters with a new season’s best result in the world – three minutes and 29.02 seconds. For women, the first finisher in this discipline was Kenyan Faith Kipyegon (4:00.44).

Greek athlete Miltiadis Tentoglu (8.42 m) and Ivana Vuleta from Serbia (6.97 m) won the long jump.

The title of the fastest woman on the planet was claimed by Jamaican Shelley Ann Fraser-Pryce, finishing in a repeated race record time of 10.65 seconds. She was ahead of compatriot Cherika Jackson (10.81) and Ivorian sprinter Marie-José Tallou (10.91). In the twice longer distance, Jackson finished first – 21.80 seconds.

American Trayvon Bromel won the men’s 100 meters with a result of 9.94 seconds, ahead of Jamaican Johan Blake (10.05), but in twice the longest distance with a new competition record, the first was American Noah Lyles – 19.52 seconds.

In 400 meters, the representative of the Dominican Republic Marileidī Paulino won with a new national record and the best result of the season in the world – 48.99 seconds.

For men, the 2012 Olympic champion from Grenada Kirani James won this distance – 44.26 seconds.

Nigerian Tobi Amusana won the 100-meter hurdle race with a new competition record of 12.29 seconds, while the American Grant Holloway was the fastest in the men’s ten-meter longer distance with 13.02 seconds.

In the 3000-meter steeplechase, African runners Verkuha Getacheva from Ethiopia (9:03.57) and Sufian el Bakali from Morocco (8:07.67) celebrated their victory.

Femke Bola from the Netherlands (53.03 seconds) and Brazilian Alison dos Santos (46.98) completed the 400-meter hurdles the fastest.

Kenyans Mary Morah (1:57.63) and Emmanuel Kipkurui Korir won the 800 meters, who achieved a new best result of the season in the world – one minute and 43.26 seconds.
