BOLASPORT.COM – Lenovo’s Ducati racer, Francesco Bagnaia, has completed the second day of the test session at the Misano Circuit, Italy. Bagnaia is looking for the right formula to emulate Yamaha in corners.

On the second day of the test session at the Misano Circuit, Italy, Wednesday (7/9/2022), Francesco Bagnaia was in second place in terms of record time.

Francesco Bagnaia is behind Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) who managed to record the best time of 1 minute 31.116 seconds. Bagnaia is only 0.056 seconds behind Quartararo.

On Wednesday, Bagnaia was seen testing with two different chassis.

After undergoing the test, Bagnaia explained the purpose of the two new chassis, one of which was to match Yamaha when entering corners.

As it is known that Yamaha does have its own advantages compared to other manufacturers when entering corners.

“We are working in the opposite direction from Yamaha,” said Bagnaia, quoted by Bolasport.com from Speedweek, Thursday (8/9/2022).

“We tried to find speed in the corners and get a bike that closes the line more on the exits.”

“And I think we did a good job.”
