The adventure will continue in the United States, the country of basketball for two of the players of the U18 national team. After the heroic journey and the individual performance of the two players during the African Championships Under U18 or Afrobasket for the under 18s, Lova and Donovan continue to shine. The United States Ambassador to Madagascar Claire Pierangelo has continued to support them by publishing words of encouragement for the Ankoays, in particular for Rakotonanahary Donovan (Mb2All, 1m97, post 3) and Andriatsarafara Lovasoa (Ascut, 2m05, post 5 ), members of the Malagasy national team, who should continue their careers abroad. The two boys left the country last Tuesday to fly to the United States. They have just won a scholarship from the Ambassador of the United States to study at the “Redemption Christian Academy”.
Jr. NBA Madagascar and the Malagasy Basketball Federation have always supported and trained them to go as far as possible both in their careers and their status as basketball players.
A member of the Club English Jr.NBA and More than Basektball, Ambassador Pierangelo was surprised to see them speak fluent English after a few exchanges with them. Through sacrifice and self-discipline, the two Malagasy basketball stars will pursue their dreams at Redemption Christian Academy in New York.
