Loures Barousse. Basketball: under the BLEES baskets

The associative fabric is expanding in Loures-Barousse with the arrival of basketball for this sporting and cultural return. Created last February, the BLEES (Basket leisure educational and sports agreement) is the “baby” of Yann Tedeschi who, recently installed in the village, wanted to participate in the vitality of the town while sharing his passion for basketball. Tuesday evening, they were fifteen on the floor of the gymnasium to train. Very playful adults, mainly from La Neste. Knowing that the young president Yann has the idea of ​​opening up basketball to the youngest that they invite to come forward in order to organize themselves on possible sessions which would be dedicated to them. So every Tuesday, from 7:15 p.m., it’s dribbling at Loures-Barousse where many associations with activities as diverse as they are varied have also started their season. “One of my objectives was to make membership accessible to everyone. We are not in competition but in a practice of leisure and pleasure”, underlines the president who was able to count on the financial and material support of the municipality, the community of Neste-Barousse communes, the French basketball federation of the Hautes-Pyrénées committee…, and people who believed in his project which he managed to build step by step. “The animation, the meeting and the gathering via sport are for me a springboard to energize our campaigns”, says the latter who specifies that the membership for the year is 5 € per person.
