The Indonesian U19 national team was dramatically able to qualify for the 2023 U20 Asian Cup after defeating Vietnam in the final match on Sunday (18/9/2022) night WIB.
Appearing at Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium, Surabaya, Garuda Muda won 3-2 over Vietnam.

These results made the Indonesian U19 National Team the winner of Group F of the U20 Asian Cup Qualification with perfect points and ensured a ticket to fly to Uzbekistan.
After the passage of the U19 Indonesia national team, now there are only 15 tickets to advance to the U20 Asian Cup finals.
South Korea became the first team to secure a place in the event after picking up a 6-2 victory over the Malaysian national team in Group E.
Another Asian giant, Japan also successfully killed off tickets to the 2023 U20 Asian Cup after winning four consecutive wins in Group C.
Then lastly, there is Iran as a middle eastern team that successfully locked a ticket to Uzbekistan after beating the United Arab Emirates with a score of 2-0.
Iran won Group J with three wins from three matches.
