Liga Betplay: Jarlan Barrera, sanctioned with three dates at Atlético Nacional | Colombian Soccer | Betplay League

Through resolution 053 of 2022, Dimayor notified the sanction for three dates of Jarlan Barrera, who was expelled in the match against Envigado Fútbol Club, pending for the seventh date in the BetPlay II-2022 League.

The Disciplinary Committee of the Professional Soccer Championship indicated that Jarlan was guilty of disrespecting a match official, with which his sanction was extended to three days, he already paid one in the Antioquia classic against Medellin and two more would be missing, where no will be able to perform in the match against Jaguares in Montería and against Deportivo Cali in Atanasio, on dates 11 and 12 of this championship. In addition, he was fined three million pesos ($3,000,000).

For its part, the Committee decided not to reinstate the sanction imposed against the new president Mauricio Navarro, who at the end of the match against Junior at the Atanasio for the return leg of the 2022 BetPlay Cup quarterfinals, the leader then part of the Board Directive, decided to enter the field of play.

The committee’s reason was that agreeing to impose the minimum established in the rule would imply not knowing that the presence of the member of the Board of Directors was not limited to being in a place where he should not be (an aspect that in itself already constituted the disciplinary infraction). . But there was also a difference with members of the rival team as a result of their presence in that place.

Therefore, Atlético Nacional was sanctioned with a fine of eight million, seven hundred and fifty thousand pesos ($8,750,000) for incurring in the infraction set forth in number 1 of article 80 of the Single Disciplinary Code of the Colombian Football Federation. “The presence of presidents or members of the executive committee of the clubs on the bench or in the vicinity of the field without authorization, from the time the referee enters the field of play and until he leaves it after the final whistle, will cause the club respective, sanction consisting of a fine of twenty-five (25) to one hundred (100) legal monthly minimum wages in force at the time of the infraction.”
