LEIBNIZ/FELKIRCHEN. Recently the second round of the 1st Judo Bundesliga took place in Leibniz (Styria). The Bundesliga team of the Judo Union Dynamic One club with training locations in Feldkirchen, Hartkirchen, Eferding and Scharten faced four teams in this autumn round:
Doppelhammer-Ippon
A 3:4 against Union Raika Pinzgau was followed by a 3:4 against the reigning champion Multikraft Wels. In the third fight against the Galaxy Tigers from Vienna, Florian Doppelhammer from Feldkirch provided a highlight by defeating the world number one (up to 66 kg) Vieru Denis from Moldova with ippon. The final result of this encounter was a 5:2 for the Viennese. The fourth fight against Sanjindo Bischofshofen also ended with 5:2 for the opponents. With these results, the further whereabouts in the 1st Judo-Bundesliga could be secured.
In autumn, courses for beginners will start again in Hartkirchen (October 1st), Eferding (September 30th) and Scharten (September 30th).
