Jean-Paul Boëtius (ex-Genk, now Hertha) is 4th Bundesliga player diagnosed with testicular cancer | Bundesliga

Jean-Paul Boëtius is already the second Hertha Berlin player in a few months to be diagnosed with testicular cancer.

This summer, right winger Marco Richter also received the hard verdict. He was able to celebrate his return at the end of August.

At Dortmund, attacker Sébastien Haller was also diagnosed with a tumor in his testicle last summer. Haller is still on the sidelines. At Union Berlin, Timo Baumgartl was hit.

Last summer Boëtius made the switch from Mainz to Hertha Berlin, the club of Red Devil Dodi Lukebakio. He has played six games for the team from the German capital so far.

The Dutchman was active at Racing Genk for six months in the spring of 2017. At the time, he had five goals and five assists in 23 matches.
