After the disappointments of the individual senior trap competitions The Italy of skeet shooting, at the 2022 World Championships being held in Osijek, tries to place its paw in the Mixed Team contest that from 16:30 will see the great show that will be worth the planetary medals take place.
Mauro De Filippis and Giulia Grassia have in fact won the final for gold, following the qualifying session in which they crumbled 144 of the 150 targets available (+4 shoot offs), in which they will face off against the highly rated Great Britain of Nathan Hales and Lucy Charlotte Hall (also for the two shooters from across the Channel the qualifying score was 144/150, plus +2 for shoot offs) for the specialty gold medal.
The bronzes available instead will be played, in the first scheduled Medal Matches, Bulgaria and Australia and China and Slovenia, in duels that at the moment do not seem to have clear favorites. Nothing to do finally for the other Italian duo in the race, the one formed by Lorenzo Ferrari and Jessica Rossi who, with a score of 140/150, only had to settle for 17th place.
