Great expectations in Slovenia for the start of the 2022 European Indoor Archery Championshipsscheduled from Tuesday 15 to Saturday 19 February, the first major event of the year with international medals for the archers of the Old Continent.
It is an ambitious Italy that presents itself to Lasko for the highlight of the indoor season, with the aim of improving the overall loot obtained three years ago in the last edition of Samsun 2019 (6 total medals arrived with 2 golds) also thanks to the introduction of the bare bow division in the program of the event.
Tricolor expedition that can count primarily on the Olympic vice-champion in office Mauro Nespoli, one of the big favorites for the title in the individual recurvo race together with the young Turkish phenomenon Mete Gazoz, gold in Tokyo 2021 after defeating the blue in the final. Nespoli will be able to say about him also in the team test with the help of Alessandro Paoli and Federico Musolesi, now firm points of the Italian trio in the Olympic arc and luxury outsiders in the individual tournament.

Important medal chances also in the female recurvo, where the magical trio composed by is reassembled in Slovenia Lucilla Boari (Olympic bronze in Tokyo 2021), Tatiana Andreoli (individual gold at the European Games 2019) e Vanessa Landi (reigning Italian outdoor champion), able to triumph at the 2017 Youth World Cup by defeating the Koreans in the quarterfinals. The big favorites on the eve for the individual title, however, will be the French Lisa Barbelin and the Dutch Gabriela Schloesser.
