Last weekend’s Italian Grand Prix was well attended. Visitor records were broken on the Monza circuit. However, not all fans made the news in a positive way. There was again talk of misconduct and several complaints went viral. The organization is now responding.
The tifosi passionately cheered on their Ferrari heroes last weekend. After the disappointing last few laps behind the Safety Car, however, a whistle concert rolled from the stands. During the stage interview with Max Verstappen, a flute concert was also heard. That was not the worst, however, as images of other misconduct also went viral. It showed how Red Bull fans were forced to put away their merchandise. There were also offensive songs aimed at Verstappen.
The organization of the Grand Prix is now coming out with a statement on Twitter. Obviously, they will condemn any misconduct and there will be an investigation. The statement is clear: “The organization has gone out of its way to create an event that would break all visitor records. For Monza, the fan experience is a top priority, so an investigation has been launched with the partners to determine the cause of the criticism. and to investigate, and measures will be taken to prevent recurrence.”
