If the details of this case concerning Making Udoka are not known, it seems more and more obvious that this is not a simple affair between a coach and a woman member of the Boston Celtics organization. It’s certainly darker – and more serious – than that. Suspended for a year, the coach may never return to the bench of the franchise. And maybe even on an NBA bench.

The irony is that Adrian Wojnarowski, the journalist whose word is (too) often the official version, repeats that Ime Udoka may well leave Boston but to bounce elsewhere later. This same Wojnarowski initially refuted the hypotheses of ” serious and inappropriate remarks by the coach advanced by his former colt Shams Charania. So why this contrast in discourse?
Strauss recalls that the insider and the Boston coach have one thing in common: they are both represented by the CAA agency. A certain conflict of interest which could explain the way in which ESPN deals with the subject. In any case, it is better to remain cautious before condemning or defending.
