Helios Latchoumanaya won his first European Championship title this Saturday (September 3) in Cagliari, Italy.

After his bronze medal at the Tokyo Paralympic Games (-90kg) in August 2021, judoka Helios Latchoumanaya won his first European title this Saturday (September 3) in Cagliari, Italy.

In the +90kg category, Romuald Raboteur won the bronze medal.
The two medalists received congratulations from the Prefecture of Guadeloupe on social networks.

Helios Latchoumanaya discovered judo at the age of 7. Visually impaired, the judoka participated in his first disabled sport competition in 2017 during the Paralympic Youth Games in Italy.
