As in previous years, the competition was part of the track of the 100th international rally of classic and sports vehicles XIII. South Bohemia Classic 2022. Spectators could admire two hundred beautiful vintage cars, including sports cars, not only at the start on the square, but also the cars displayed around the square.

The road circuit in the square and in the adjacent streets continued the tradition of the chapel circuit races of motorcycles and cars, which took place in the 1950s and 1960s and used to be part of the national championship.

Participating crews completed two laps measuring the deviation to one-hundredth of a second from the prescribed time. According to the organizers, the main attraction of this year’s edition was the driving of a formula car driven by the only Czech Formula 1 driver Tomáš Enge.

Other owners of historic vehicles could also participate in the parade. The only condition was that the vehicle was manufactured before 1985.
