Laura Luber and Kilian Löffler from DJK Ensdorf won the title in the under 18 age group at the Bavarian Judo Championships in Abensberg. Team colleague Emilie Marschall secured the bronze medal.

Kilian Löffler, who switched to the sports high school in Munich for the new school year, won his first fights in the weight class up to 55 kg with a shoulder throw and an inside thigh throw. In the semifinals, Löffler tried to throw a shoulder throw and sensationally threw an inside sickle in the opposite direction, ending the fight after just a few seconds. The man from Ensdorf also won the final. After a minute, the fight against Lukas Bauer from TSV Großhadern was decided with a holding technique.

Among the U18 girls, Emilie Marschall won her first fights in the weight class up to 57 kg. The DJK only had Emilie Marschall after a short time. In the semifinals, the girl from Ensdorf met the later Bavarian champion Vanessa Geretzki from TSV Großhadern and had to admit defeat halfway through the four-minute fight. The small final was quickly decided. Against Selina Beer from TSV Unterhaching, Marschall won the match early with an inside thigh throw. Laura Luber also secured the Bavarian title in the weight class up to 44 kg.

Thus, the DJK Ensdorf is represented by three athletes at the southern German championship next weekend in Passau. This is about qualifying for the German championship in Leipzig.
