Perfumerías Avenida de Salamanca, current league champion, will play the I Ciudad Real Women’s Basketball Tournament with Hozono Global Jairis de Alcantarilla (Murcia), trained by Lucas Fernández from Ciudad Real. The price of tickets at the box office will be 7 euros. The Ciudad Real Basketball Club, thanks to its excellent relations with Lucas Fernández, has been the organizer of this tournament, which aims to give visibility and promote the practice of women’s basketball with a clash of real height, in collaboration with the City Council, Provincial Council and Board and various business firms.
The Salamanca team is a history of Spanish women’s basketball and in its list of winners it has, among other titles, one Euroleague, eight Women’s Leagues and 10 Queen’s Cups. Face a Jairis who will debut in the highest category at the hands of Calzadeño Lucas Fernández.
In their two previous friendlies, Perfumerías Avenida has authoritatively beaten Durán Ensino (84-47) and Leganés (84-50), while Hozono Global Jairis did the same this past weekend against Estepona (106- 60). Now, Salamanca and Murcia face this test, which will allow several of the best players in the League to be seen in Ciudad Real.
