Operation “from the Stadium to Employment”, to recruit differently
With the support of the French Badminton Federation and Paris 2024, the Centre-Val de Loire Badminton league and Center-Val de Loire employment centre, an event “From the stadium to employment” is being organized on Tuesday June 28 , from 9:30 a.m. at the Gymnase Chardon in Orléans. In total, more than twenty companies will be present.
USING THE BENEFITS OF BADMINTON TO BOOST RECRUITMENT
This event, launched in 2019 by Paris 2024, the National Sport Agency, Pôle Emploi and the Athletics Federation, offers companies the opportunity to recruit differently by focusing, initially, on the skills of the candidates, put enhanced through sport. Badminton has all the assets to be associated with this kind of operation where sport becomes a formidable lever for social integration. Due to its ease of access and its diversity, the practice of badminton, in doubles in particular, is ideal for this new kind of job dating.
This event will welcome some twenty companies with recruitment needs in a wide variety of professions, and more than a hundred candidates previously selected and prepared by the Pôle emploi agencies in Orléans.
A DAY ARTICULATED AROUND TWO HIGHLIGHTS
Throughout the morning, candidates and recruiters, only identified by their first names, will be associated in pairs on the grounds for an adapted practice of badminton, under the guidance of supervisors from the Centre-Val de Loire league. The activities are designed to highlight professional, human and relational qualities: team spirit, ability to listen and mobilize, rigor, sense of anticipation… The central idea is that recruiters and candidates can be discovered differently, without the formal filter of the professional interview and the CV.
By creating a close relationship, through sports practice, HR managers and candidates will be able to tackle the second highlight of the day all the better: job dating, with recruitment interviews throughout the aftermath. – noon opening up to a wide range of vacancies.
