“I have changed since the start of the season. Now when I lead the race, I only think about the most important things,” the 25-year-old racer told Speedweek quoted on the Paddock GP page, Thursday (22/9/2022).

“I have to be perfect on my bike and act perfect. I no longer worry when a driver closes the gap behind me. I’ve had several times this year when I faced the fact that someone was approaching me, I struggled mentally,” he continued.

“In this race I was very focused on myself, I tried to adapt to every situation. It helps me get through the race as best I can without making any mistakes. I only take care of myself and the most important thing of a race,” said the Italian.
