As already announced, my mandate was to be considered concluded on 30 June last while, in this transition phase pending the new appointments, we experienced and supported the transfer of the subsidiary Fortitudo Pallacanestro to the credit restructuring and tax settlement regime. I am happy to say that, to date, the financial situation appears to be completely sustainable. Our best wishes now go to my successor, an excellent and esteemed professional who, in maintaining the role of Director of the subsidiary Fortitudo Pallacanestro, will be able to guarantee a partnership (in the near and distant future) to be kept safe. from the pitfalls and difficulties that have characterized the last few years“.

These are the words of the new president of the Consortium Luca Corazza:

The first thought is for Roberto Melloni, who should be sincerely thanked for the way he supported (with passion and patience) the position of President of the Consortium in a phase that is anything but simple. Subsequently, it is also my concern to thank all those who (in these long months) have worked hard to be able to guarantee Fortitudo Pallacanestro a financially peaceful present and future. As far as I am concerned, I am particularly pleased to take on this highly responsible position. Our work of attention, participation and support for Fortitudo Pallacanestro will be constant and meticulous and I am confident that the current base of Consortium members will soon be expanded with new, constant entries.”.
