Football Association pays tribute to Vincent Kompany, Thomas Vermaelen and Mousa Dembélé for a duel with Wales Red Devils

Red DevilsThe Belgian Football Association (KBVB) will pay tribute to former internationals Vincent Kompany, Thomas Vermaelen and Mousa Dembélé for the Nations League match against Wales.

The association is already bringing the World Cup atmosphere into the stadium against Wales. It will be the Devils’ last match on Belgian soil before the World Cup in Qatar (20 November-18 December). After the match, Oscar and the Wolf kicks off the afterparty with a live version of the official World Cup song ‘Warrior’.

As usual, the football association makes it an atmospheric goodbye match. In and around the stadium, the traditional supporter animations warm up the fans before the match. The Red Devils show up in their brand new, flaming World Cup shirts.

“For our fans, it’s a last opportunity to see their heroes at work in Belgium,” said Manu Leroy, the director of marketing and communications. “And that for the very first time in the official World Cup outfit. They also pick up a live song by Max Colombie with Oscar and the Wolf. For example, they can hear our World Cup song for Qatar live and they can enjoy the stadium with the other thousands of supporters and already dream of the World Cup that starts within two months.”
