Season is disappointing
Despite the summer of the century, the outdoor pool season in the spa town fell short of expectations. From May 1st to September 11th, the Seedammbad registered 148,819 guests plus 10,524 visitors from clubs, school classes and after-school care groups. “The number of visitors was thus far below the pre-Corona years, in which we sometimes had up to 5,000 visitors per day on the weekends,” summarizes the Bad Homburg public utility company responsible for the pool. Those responsible suspect that many spent their vacation outside during the summer holidays.
