FC Barcelona: Drama at Barça game! Keeper throws defibrillator into the audience – FOOTBALL

The sport becomes a minor matter…

Dramatic incident in FC Barcelona’s 4-0 win in Cadiz!

In the 82nd minute, referee Carlos del Cerro Grande suddenly interrupted the game. It quickly becomes clear: a fan collapsed in the stands and needs to be revived.

Cadiz goalkeeper Jeremias Ledesma (29) sprints, gets a defibrillator and throws it in the stands. On the pitch, the players put their hands in front of their faces, some praying for the fan. Fifteen minutes after the game was stopped, del Cerro Grande sent the teams into the dressing room as the fan continued to receive treatment.

Then some Cadiz supervisors and players get a stretcher and run to the stands. At 8.43 p.m. the person was taken away.

According to Spanish media, it is said to be a male fan who is said to have had no pulse for five minutes. But then the resuscitation measures took effect! The quick action of everyone involved is said to have saved the man’s life.

A second incident is said to have occurred during the break in play, this time in the main grandstand. Apparently because of a shock, another trailer is said to have collapsed. Helpers came again.

At 8:52 p.m., one of the helpers returned to the pitch and was applauded by the fans. It seemed like he could have helped at least one of the two fans.

Two minutes later, the players are back on the pitch and warming up. The rest of the game will be played from 9:06 p.m. after a referee ball. Both teams play the game to the end normally – although the match is decided, the time is not just downplayed.

During the game, Frenkie de Jong (25) had given Barcelona the lead in the 55th minute. Striker superstar Robert Lewandowski (33) scored the second goal ten minutes later and warmed up for the meeting with ex-club Bayern next Tuesday. The Pole came on as a substitute just eight minutes earlier and set up Ansu Fati’s third Barça goal in the 86th minute. The final point is Ousmane Dembélé (90 + 2).
