The home shirt is orange as usual, for the away shirt it is reverted to royal blue. In recent years, the Dutch national team played its away matches in a black uniform with orange accents.

The team of national coach Louis van Gaal will show the blue away kit next Thursday (September 22) in Warsaw against Poland, 3 days later the players will wear the orange kit in Amsterdam against Belgium. In that shirt, the mane of the Dutch Lion can be seen with dark streaks.

“Every time I put on the shirt, I see it as an opportunity to achieve great things,” captain Virgil van Dijk said in a press release. “Not just for myself and for the team, but especially for my country.”

The Orange squad starts its World Cup on November 21 against Senegal and then plays in the group against Ecuador (November 25) and host country Qatar (November 29).

Belgium’s World Cup shirt, designed by Adidas, has not yet been officially announced.
