This Saturday the third date of the Copa Ciudad de Córdoba tournament takes place at the Cerutti Sports Center, bringing together outstanding women’s and men’s basketball teams from the Province.
At 2:00 p.m. will be the confrontation of the women’s teams of Universitario vs. Banda Norte de Río Cuarto.
The day will be complemented by the dispute at 4:00 p.m. between Instituto Atlético Central Córdoba vs. Chañares de James Craik.
While the men’s fixture of the third date will be at 18:00 between Instituto Atlético Central Córdoba and San Isidro de San Francisco. At 8:00 p.m. Athens vs. Independiente de Oliva will face each other.
All the matches, of the three dates plus the final crosses, are played at the Cerutti Sports Center, with free admission. They will be broadcast on basketballpass.tv.
The Cup runs until Sunday, when the final of each category and the matches to define the 3rd to 6th place locations will take place.
The women’s final, which will face the first of each group, will be at 6:00 p.m., while the men’s final is scheduled for 8:00 p.m., with the same format. They will be broadcast on Showsport.
Prizes will be the same for both genders: $550,000 for first place, $450,000 for second, $350,000 for third and $100,000 for fourth through sixth.

The cup is organized by the Municipality of Córdoba through the Secretary of Government and General Management of the Cabinet, the Undersecretary of Sports and Recreation with the collaboration of the Cordoba Basketball Federation, Acoteba and the Cordoba Basketball Association.
