The third quarter started and Notre Dame received the kickoff from North Carolina. The Irish started from their own 25-yard line. On 1st and 10, Drew Pyne hit Jayden Thomas short for a game of 11 yards. On 1st and 10, Chris Tyree rushed for 6 yards. On 2nd and 4, Tyree rushed for a first down and a pickup of 11 yards. Tyree rushed for 2 yards on first down. On 2nd and 8, Pyne hit Lorenzo Styles for a first down and a gain of 16 yards. On 1st and 10 from the UNC 29-yard line, Pyne rolled right , threw back to a wide open Logan Diggs and he casually walked into the end zone. Touchdown Irish.
