Dennis Schroeder returns to the LA Lakers

After his outstanding performances at the European Championship, Dennis Schröder should be on the up again in the NBA.

Dennis Schröder wants to make the past season forgotten for the LA Lakers. In Los Angeles he will play alongside superstar LeBron James. Most recently, the German played a supporting role in the NBA.

In the 2020/21 season, however, the best basketball player in Germany showed strong performances. At the time, he was about to have his contract extended in the millions. In the contract negotiations, however, the player gambled too high: in the end, the contract was never signed.

A year later, the reunion finally takes place, which James also seems to have pushed for. “Yes sir! So damn happy to have you back!” wrote James, 37, via Instagram.

Schröder is also happy to be able to play for the glorious Lakers again. “It’s an honor to play for the @Lakers. Can’t wait to get started!” Schröder wrote on Instagram.

The last year hasn’t felt right. He felt misunderstood and nobody really knew the story. He is now coming back to the largest organization to do everything right.

“I’ll give everything I have, every single day!” At the European Championship, Schröder had 21.6 points and 7.3 assists per game until the game for third place.
