6-year-old dies after soccer practice
Höchst in Gelnhausen (Hesse) – Deep sadness at TSV 07 Höchst. A 6-year-old youth soccer player collapsed after training at the soccer club’s sports ground on Tuesday. A little later, the boy died in a hospital.

Caregivers alerted the rescue service, and the boy was immediately flown to a hospital in Frankfurt with the rescue helicopter. But even experienced doctors could no longer help the 6-year-old, he died in the hospital on Wednesday night.
According to BILD information, TSV 07 Höchst has canceled all games for the time being.
The grief at the club is huge, the club logo is shown in black and white on social media, along with a burning candle: “We are stunned and are powerless.”
Police and prosecutors have launched a death investigation. A police spokesman confirmed the death to BILD: “The cause of death has not been determined, the boy will have to be autopsied.” According to BILD information, TSV 07 Höchst has canceled all games for the time being.
