The dream of the title at the home European Championship has burst for the German basketball players. Captain Dennis Schröder almost single-handedly led the team to the final.
“We could definitely have won that. We lost our position. The Spaniards were really tough and played very well,” said Schröder after the game and looked straight ahead: “The tournament isn’t over yet .
