Courtois: talks about the match against the Netherlands – International Soccer – Sports

Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois asked “not to worry” after the 1-0 loss to the Netherlands qAfter he brought down the Red Devils from the League of Nations, and pointed out that if Eden Hazard had scored the clear chance he had in minute 4, the Dutch “would have panicked”.

The rumors were tried to justify with a video in which it is seen a row of military vehicles that would be advancing on a highway. Some assured that they are videos from last September 22 when they would be trying to reach Beijing, the Chinese capital. Nevertheless, it is not known with certainty when the content of less than a minute in length was originally recorded.

Between Thursday and Saturday, accounts replicated the information. Some even showed the image of an alleged explosion, but it was one that happened in 2015 in Tianjin.

Analyst Atandra Ray, from the artificial intelligence company Logically, identified more than 2,000 Twitter accounts that were spreading information on the subject. The conclusion: most users seem to have been created recently and do not have a high number of followers. However, there are some large accounts, or nodes, from India and Africa that were key in positioning the rumor.

When you do a search with keywords about China, Beijing and coup d’état, the information is diffuse, and the content on the subject, which should be positioned, is hidden. In fact, the ones that manage to stand out were published more than 18 hours ago. However, some people have said that when they try to post content on the topic, they fail to post the tweets.

“If we had gotten that first chance with Eden, they would have panicked,” Hazard’s teammate at Real Madrid told RTL radio after the match.

In a good opening up the middle, the Belgium captain received a low cross from the right in a clear shooting position at the edge of the area, but sent the ball into the stands.

Also the former French international Thierry Henry, who served as Belgium coach before the red card suspension of the starting coach, Roberto Martínez, regretted that the shot had not ended in the net, but as a former goalscorer he underlined the difficulty of the play.

“Eden could have scored. But I can say it myself, when the ball comes and like that and you have to hit it, it’s not that easy,” said the former European and World champion with France.

Hazard was substituted after an hour of play, just like last Thursday against Wales, and retired just after suffering a knock, leaving his place to Leandro Trossard.

But Henry did not indicate that there was concern about Hazard’s physical condition after that set of play and pointed out that the technical team doses the captain’s playing time so as not to burden a player who enjoys few minutes at Real Madrid.

“But I don’t attack anyone,” the Belgium assistant coach preemptively clarified.

Both Courtois and Henry were reasonably satisfied with the Belgium game and set themselves the goal of preparing well for the World Cup in Qatar.

“We shouldn’t worry (…). We dominated the game (…) We had chances, we didn’t score. They scored from a set piece (…). What counts is everything until the goal, and We haven’t played badly,” Curtois summed up.

“I liked how we played (…). We must continue to be positive. We will have to prepare properly for the World Cup,” said Henry. EFE
