Joan Laporta would have directly agreed with the player from Bilbao, who only has one year of contract left. The defender should engage with the Catalan formation this winter, when the regulations allow it (six months from the end of his commitment).
Inigo Martinez is 31 years old and has played 2 La Liga games this season. The native of Ondarroa has 19 caps with La Roja and has been playing with the Basque club since January 2018.
