BOLASPORT.COM – The world’s badminton players, including Indonesia, have just completed their participation in the Japan Open 2022 tournament which ended on September 4 yesterday.

Furthermore, the tournaments included in the Badminton World Federation (BWF) calendar will continue at the Canada Open 2022 and Vietnam Open 2022 on 27 September-2 October.

However, this tournament is included in the lower level or Super 100 so there are rarely world elite badminton players who participate.

A total of 18 Indonesian representatives will take part in the Vietnam Open which is scheduled to be held at the Nguyen Du Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City.

In this tournament, there are a number of changes that occur. Ribka Sugiarto and Melati Daeva Oktavianti will debut as a new couple.

Rebekah was paired with Lanny Tria Mayasari, who was previously paired with Jesita Putri Miantoro. In fact, since being split from Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti last April, Ribka has only been paired with Febby Valencia Dwijayanti Gani.

Apart from Rebekah/Lanny, the Red and White Team also fielded two other pairs in the women’s doubles sector. They are Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi and Nita Violina Marwah/Tryola Nadia.

From the mixed doubles sector, Melati Daeva Oktavianti is paired with a new partner, Moh. Reza Pahlevi Ishafani who usually only plays in the men’s doubles sector with Sabar Karyaman Gutama

The reason is that Melati’s tandem, Praveen Jordan, suffered an injury when appearing at the Indonesia Open 2022, last June.
