From Wednesday to Sunday, in the pretty setting of Ibiza in Spain, Lily Gautier (AL Saint-Brieuc) competed in the U15 European Championships. The N3 player shone there by winning a bronze medal in women’s doubles, associated with her usual partner, Monitosita Touch (Ile-de-France). The duettists narrowly lost in the semi-final, against a Romanian pair (21-19, 21-17), ultimately victorious in the tournament. In singles, Lily lost in the 32nd round against a Czech player (21-18 21-16). Lily is Emma’s little sister, who has just left Saint-Brieuc to join Saint-Jacques-de-la-Lande.
