Bad air in the cabin? Bayern leaders stand behind Nagelsmann

In the past few days, more and more reports have been circulating that there would be “thick air in the Bayern dressing room”. According to rumours, the FCB stars are increasingly criticizing their head coach Julian Nagelsmann. As has now become known, the 35-year-old still has important supporters and advocates on the Isar.

The “BILD” reported this week that the critical voices in the Bayern dressing room towards Julian Nagelsmann are getting louder. In keeping with this, “Sky” wants to know that some players are not only dissatisfied with their playing times, but also with the tactical system that the FCB coach is using at the start of the new season.

Rumor has it that Nagelsmann is “threatening to lose the dressing room”, which is not a good sign in view of past Bayern coaches such as Niko Kovac or Carlo Ancelotti. According to “SPORT1” reporter Kerry Hau, the current situation on Säbener Straße is not as tense as recently portrayed in the media: “Anyone who has not won four Bundesliga games in a row and slips down to 5th place will automatically come under pressure. But it’s not like Julian Nagelsmann has already lost the Bayern dressing room,” explained the Bayern expert in an interview with “FCBinside”.

„Happy team, happy life“

According to Hau, Nagelsmann still reaches the team. In Joshua Kimmich, the Munich head coach also has an important Bayern player at his side: “The coach still has an important supporter and advocate in Joshua Kimmich, whose word carries weight in the dressing room. Other players can also identify very well with the coach on a technical level – unlike, for example, in Kovac’s time, when there were major differences of opinion regarding the direction of the game,” Hau makes clear.

Nevertheless: The 35-year-old has to be careful when it comes to personnel and pay particular attention to the reservists: “Important for Nagelsmann are better results and further development in terms of squad management. Because there have recently been several players who felt unfairly treated in terms of their playing times. Happy team, happy life.”
