AS Roma win at Empoli in Serie A

Eight days after being crushed by Udinese (0-4) and four days after losing to Ludogorets in the Europa League (1-2), AS Roma won 2-1 at Empoli this Monday evening (2-1), and returns to a point behind the leaders. Argentinian Paulo Dybala was the best of his team. The player, who arrived free this summer from Juventus, opened the scoring with a delicious curling shot at the entrance to the area (17th). He also served Abraham for the second goal of the Wolf (71st).

The latter missed a penalty by Pellegrini (80th) and saw Vicario repel many attempts, especially at the end of the match. The local goalkeeper was also saved by Parisi, on his line (51st). Empoli, rather interesting, scored through Bandinelli (head, 43rd). The former Brestois Satriano had found the Roman post from the 23rd.
