FC Porto coach Sergio Conceição did not show his best side at the press conference after the heavy defeat against Club Brugge. The Portuguese walked out of the room after two questions.
Sergio Conceição was again the turbulent waters that we know from his time at Standard. The Porto coach could of course not be happy with the victory, but was quite excited during the press conference. Not that the two questions he answered were so provocative but the man just can’t lose. And certainly not 0-4.
“I’m not going to question everything we’ve been training for lately,” he responded with irritation. “Last week in Madrid and in the league everything was still good and now that would have changed? Then a lot of people didn’t understand. Now we get through Pepe (the Brazilian, ed.) an opportunity and it won’t take it. Bruges gets a penalty and it goes in. That’s how it works in football.”
That was enough for Conceição. He stepped away with a brisk step, and the door got another smack on top.
