Andrus with his power sentences “whiteleg” victory in Seattle

The Venezuelan Elvis Andrus, a piece of the Chicago White Sox, exhibited his occasional power on Monday to lead his team to victory against the Seattle Mariners.

In the top of the third inning, Andrus punished a fastball from Mariners starter Marco Gonzalez to get the ball out to right field.

According to Baseball Savant, the Venezuelan shortstop’s connection, with a running back, posted an exit speed of 98.1 miles per hour and traveled 355 feet.

The 34-year-old Cuban veteran hit 11 homers in the campaign and 90 for life in the Major Leagues (MLB).

On this day, the native of Maracay, Aragua state, went 4-2, with a home run, double, scored and a couple of produced.

The White Sox’s other run came on AJ Pollock’s solo homer.

The victory of this commitment went to Lance Lynn (5-5), after a job of seven innings of a career and 11 strikeouts.

With this win (3-2), the White Sox improved to 68-67 and were 1.5 games off the top of the American League Central Division.
