Since opening in 1999, State Farm Arena (formerly known as Philips Arena) has been home to the Atlanta Hawks. The arena was also the home of the Atlanta Thrashers of the National Hockey League from 1999 to 2011 before the team relocated to Winnipeg, where it is now known as the Jets.
