Obituary
Amanda Dawn McNab
March 15, 1978 – September 6, 2022
Amanda Dawn McNab of George Gordon / Peepeekisis First Nations, has started her journey home on September 6, 2022.
She was a quiet & generous woman who kept to herself. In her youth she made many friends, best friends. People will remember her from all the amazing achievements from a ball player, a judo fighter, a hockey player & a horse back rider. In the year 2000 she met her lover Joseph DeJong who had kept her moving forward & gave her children to give her hope in life again. Amanda and Joseph had many wonderful memories together, they had traveled across Canada, seeing & learning new things for themselves on their many adventures.
Amanda will be missed by many but her memory will live on with her loved ones who will tell fun, crazy/wild, loving moments they have shared with her on her time on earth those stories will live on. Her family & friends hope Amandas journey home to heaven will be peaceful.
Wake will be held Sunday, September 11, 2022 at 4 pm in the old gym, George Gordon First Nation. Funeral service will be held Monday, September 12, 2022 at 2 pm in the same location.
