Indonesian men’s doubles pair, Pramudya Kusumawardana / Rahmat Hidayat who were recently paired by PBSI
BOLASPORT.COM – PBSI has prepared five new pairs to strengthen the double sector which is ready to show off in the next few tournaments.
From the men’s doubles sector, there is a new pair of Pramudya Kusumawardana / Rahmat Hidayat.
Pramudya Kusumawardana is usually paired with Jeremiah Erich Yoche Yacob Rambitan. Because Jeremiah was still recovering from his injury.
Finally, PBSI chose Rahmat Hidayat, who is usually paired with Muhammad Rayhan Nur Fadillah. Rahmat/Rayhan are separated because Rayhan will be focused on participating in the 2022 World Junior Championships.
The Pramudya/Rahmat duo will make their debut at the Indonesia International Challenge 2022 which will take place on 11-16 October.
After two days, Pramudya/Rahmat will be competing again in the Indonesia Masters Super 100 event on October 18-23.
Indonesia’s men’s doubles national coach, Herry Iman Pierngadi, said that Rahmat was the most suitable player for Pramudya’s style of play.
“Based on my observations and the coaching team in training so far, Rahmat is the most suitable to play with Pram. The pattern and way of playing are suitable,” said Herry Iman Pierngadi, quoted by Bolasport.com from the official PBSI release.
With the pairing of Pramudya/Rahmat, Pramudya will not be unemployed for too long. Pramudya’s fitness and playing patterns were maintained before finally being paired with Jeremiah again after completing his recovery period.
