Denis Shapovalov has a new travel companion for the US Open 2022. In this case it is a name that will not surprise many, an old face of the circuit who, moreover, has already trained the Canadian for several seasons. After several months without a permanent coach in which he has hardly had any good results, Denis has once again trusted Mikhail Youzhny ahead of the Flushing Meadows tournament. The Russian has been seen in the training sessions of his new pupil throughout the week, which confirms the return of a duo that has only been separated for nine months. We will see if Shapovalov reaps better results from the hand of someone who made his tennis grow in the first part of their relationship.
Look who’s back in the house with @denis_shapo ?
