US Open with record prize money: 60.1 million euros for tennis professionals

In the first round, the prize money increases to 80,000 for the players in singles, 121,000 for reaching the second round. $6.25 million will be paid out in qualifying alone, with doubles winners receiving $688,000 per duo.

The main round of the US Open starts on August 29th. The defending champions at the last Grand Slam tournament of the year are the current world number one Daniil Medvedev for men and the 19-year-old British Emma Raducanu for women.
