Two-time Olympic champion Māris Štrombergs shows how he enjoys his vacation in Latvia with his family

In social networks, both Māris and his wife Nataša have published footage from their family vacation. The couple attended friends’ weddings, showed how they enjoy the charm of the Latvian beach, and celebrated the name day of their first child, Rio, as well as the name day and seventh month of life of their youngest daughter, Olīvija Džūnas.

Also, Māris showed how he and his son visited the BMX track of Māras Stromberg, located in Valmiera. Born in the summer of 2018, Rio is already riding a BMX bike, following in his father’s footsteps.

Nule Māris has shared his success on the golf course in social networks. As is known, in 2018 the athlete announced that he was ending his career as a BMX cyclist. From then on, he turned to golf.

“Apollo.lv” already reported that Maris Strombergs and his wife Natasha welcomed their second child – Olivia June – into the world on January 10. The Strombergs got married in 2016 and welcomed their first child in the summer of 2018 – a son named Rio James. The Stromberg family lives in the United States.

Stromberg is the first Olympic champion in BMX in 2008 in Beijing, four years later he won another gold in London. Two world championship titles, three European championship titles and a lot of other victories have also been won, which makes the Valmierite to be called one of the greatest and most successful athletes in the history of Latvia.
