Initially he commented that it will be a very modern stadium and that it is in charge of a European company: “there is a Spanish fund that wants to make the stadium multi-event, modern, as it should be. Some resources come to the construction of the stadium in America. It will be a stadium with a field and a retractable roof, with all the toys it is worth around 100 million dollars”.
Apart from the stage, it will have spaces for professional and youth teams, comparing it to the venue of one of the most important teams in the world.
“Next to the stadium there must be 150,000 meters so that America has the minor divisions of the professional team, the women’s team, the home and accommodation of the professional teams. Something like what Real Madrid have like Valdebebas, but obviously keeping the proportions”.
Regarding the location of the stadium and the official announcement, he said that “there are two possibilities. The first near the Sameco bridge (main exit from the north towards Yumbo).
