“He played great. Not only because of those two goals, but overall he was the way he was at the end of last season. Since we wanted to get Ivan on the roster at all costs, it fell on him, because the opponent had Palacios on his side, and we evaluated it in such a way that we had to sacrifice a player.
I’m very happy with how he responded. I would be very happy if all the players who are not doing well or are a little slack, reacted like David did against Zlín,” said coach Jindřich Trpišovský at the press conference.
In addition to Jurásk, young Marek Icha also stood out in the match, scoring not only his debut but also his first goal and assist. How did the coach see his performance and what does he expect from him?
“He is a player who impressed us a lot during the summer training. He is one of the players who is able to quickly remove flaws or imperfections. Overall a very good performance for me, had 1+1, hinted at things he is very strong in,” he added.
Slavia is now moving to Greece, to which it will travel unusually soon. The reason is better acclimatization, he also has a two-goal lead, so he is the favorite to advance.
