The weekend in the Former University Dining Hall of the UNNE, the Second Internal Selective Meeting was held for the second date of the Table Tennis Regional, to be played in Chaco in the coming weeks.
Organized by the Correntina Table Tennis Federation, the contest featured players from the Corrientes Regatta Club in the team modality, taking important podiums.
In the Second category, the champions were the sailors Bruno Ravinovich and Benjamín and Arturo Mariño Rey, who beat other “rowers” in the grand final, Clara Oviedo, Juan Ignacio Romero and Franco Ramírez. Both teams got the ticket for the Regional NEA.
For its part, in the Development category there was a greater participation of “ghosts”. The teams belong to the Regatta school and others, from inland towns that are part of “Ping Pong to Table Tennis”, make up the project promoted by the Regatta coach Carlos Núñez.
The title was left in the hands of the cast made up of Ian Dri, Valentina Paredes, Ignacio Alarcón and Felipe Ferreyra, who debuted in the tournament at just 7 years old. The second place was in the hands of the Ituzaingó school. The players were Luz and Gabriel Del Valle and Kiara Pérez Duarte. Both the champion and the runner-up qualified for the Regional.
The podium was completed by the regatans Robertino Vignolo and Joaquín Araujo.
Those classified by Regattas and Corrientes will participate in the NEA Regional, which will be played on August 21 and 22 in Chaco.
