the women’s 4×100 brilliantly qualifies for the final

The women’s relay impresses by winning their series and qualifying for the grand final.

Just like the men’s relay, the women’s relay manages to enter the final. This Friday morning, Floriane Gnafoua, Gemima Joseph, Mallory Leconte and Hélène Parisot won the second series of the 4×100 just ahead of Germany. With a strong Start List, France boldly played their luck and posted the best time of their season at the finish in 43”24. With a last failed handover, it was Switzerland that created the surprise by falling by the wayside.

With this good time, the French team set the third fastest time in these series just behind Great Britain (42”83) and Spain (42”95), which were racing in series number one. To play for the podium, you will therefore have to go even faster this Sunday at 9:22 p.m.
