The tournament of legends in Pula was won by Ivan Lendl’s team with Radek Štěpánek

The newly created competition was played in Pula with a similar system to the Laver Cup: the winners received a point on the first day of play, two on the second and three on the third. Lendl’s selection led 6:3 before the final day of the tournament, and David Ferrer guided him to his first triumph, defeating Marcos Baghdatis 8:3.

In the subsequent doubles match, Štěpánek and Lleyton Hewitt sealed the overall victory. The Czech-Australian pair defeated Baghdatis and Tommy Robredo 8:7 thanks to the victory in the shortened game (10:7). The overall defeat was softened in the end by Robredo, who defeated Tommy Haas.

After Pula, the tournament will be played from November 9 to 12 in Dubai. The total amount of rewards this year is one million euros. Only players over the age of 33 who were in the top twenty of the ATP rankings can enter the Legends Team Cup.
