The permanent residence of the Modernization Center ‘Ciudad Deportiva de Cáceres’ will house 54 athletes this season

The Official Gazette of Extremadura (DOE) has published the resolution that publicizes the granting of places in the stable residence for athletes of the ‘Ciudad Deportiva de Cáceres’ Sports Technification Center for the 2022/2023 season.

The stable residence will house a total of 54 athletes from eight modalities, specifically, judo, swimming, mountain and climbing, triathlon, archery, cycling, athletics and orienteering during the 2022/2023 season.

This residence offers the best training conditions for athletes in the region who have shown better competitive performance and with projection to be able to obtain sporting achievements at a national or international level, the Junta de Extremadura highlights in a press release.

The program promotes the comprehensive training of residents, combining studies and high-performance training through accommodation and maintenance services, sports training, tutorial support, medicine and physiotherapy services, and sports psychology.
