RIETI – After the formalization of the engagement of Alessandro Naoni, the return of Nikola Nonkovic, Kienergia Npc Rieti closes the under department thanks to the arrival of Benjamin Marchiaro.
Argentine, a small forward in 2004, he arrived in Italy thanks to Luis Scola who placed him in the prestigious Varese basketball nursery. With the Varese Academy Pallacanestro he won the Ibsa Next Gen Cup, the title of U19 Regional Champion and participation in the Adidas Next Generation Tournament. In the 2021-2022 season, with the double membership, in C Gold the winger averaged 14.2 points per game. In addition, Marchiaro is on a permanent basis in the Argentina U18 National Team, with which he participated in the Fiba Americas Cup, finishing the tournament in 4th place, scoring 11.6 points and 3.4 points per game and qualifying for next year’s U18 World Cup.
