Tomorrow, Saturday, August 20, the classification of the North Basketball Tournament for the men’s sub-17 category will be played.
The novelty is that it will be played in two venues and the first two of each will qualify for the Gold Cup, while the third will go to the Silver Cup.
The stage will be played, on the one hand, at the Tacuarembó Sports Center and, on the other, at the Yacht Club of the city of Bella Unión, Artigas.
In Tacuarembó, in addition to the local one, the two riverense teams will play: Don Bosco/Telégrafo and Nacional de Básquetbol.
In Bella Unión, in addition to Náutico, the host team, the Artigas team and the Panatinaikos club from Uruguayana will participate.
THE RIVERENSE PLANTS
The squad that will represent the National Basketball Club is made up of: Santiago Sander, Francisco Benavides, Manuel Vega, Eduardo Juárez, Matheus Martins, Tadeo Greieco, Facundo Ferreira, Joaquín Alsina, Juan Hernández, Gabriel Suthil and Elías Morales. The technical director is Sergio Cardozo and his technical assistant is Marcos Vargas.
For its part, the Don Bosco/Telegraph team is made up of the following players: Marcos Tabares Pereira, Bruno Lopez Perez, Lucas Duarte Muslera, Alex Ferreira Cuevas, Jose Antuna Madruga, Santiago Gonzalez Gomez, Cristian Rosa Fierro, Lucas Gonzalez da Costa , Braian da Chaga Alvez, James Marrero, John Mendoza and Augustine Wedge.
